Welcome to YTC
Hello and welcome friend and fellow detectorist. Yankee Territory Coinshooters is a club formed to enjoy, preserve and protect the hobby of metal detecting. Since January of 1976 our members have been enjoying monthly meetings and other various Club sponsored activities.
Along with the meetings, members also enjoy a monthly newsletter filled with stories, facts and articles of interest as well as access to a private Facebook group to stay in touch with each other in-between meetings.
Membership in our club can help the experienced as well as the novice detectorist obtain current information from new law updates to just good detecting places and tips.

Monthly Meeting is the second Wednesday of each month at William Pitkin Community Center. Wethersfield, Ct . 6:30pm

Events
Pirate Hunt Wayne is the Huntmaster for the third annual Pirate Hunt which will take place Sat., May 18 (rain Date Sun., May 19) at Meigs Point, Hammonasset Beach. The hunt fee will be $15.00, due by the May meeting on May 8. No sign ups or fee collections will be accepted the day of the hunt. There will be a costume contest! We need someone to run the raffle. There will be a test garden set up by 11:00. This is a good chance to test your machine how it reacts with certain metals. The hunt will start at 12:30 sharp

Community Center, 30 Greenfield Street, Wethersfield, CT. Meetings start at 6:30. Activities include:
o Refreshments, raffles (50/50 and Silver Coin) and membership silver drawing
o “Finds of the month” competition
o Guest speakers and up-to-date reports on new detectors/equipment

Yearly membership due January 1st:
$25.00 for first family member (after July 1st, $12.00)
$13.00 for second family member (after July 1st, $6.00)
$5.00 for each additional family member
